It sure as hell wasn't the Pacific, but it'd have to do. Logan had changed into board shorts and now he left his t-shirt and shoes on the shoreline. He ran into the water and dove towards the deeper part of the lake, ignoring the squawks of indignant ducks.

Sam walked past Logan frolicking in the lake. "Having fun?"

Logan shook the water from his hair and drops flew everywhere. "I am, thank you," he said. "Do you swim?" It was asked casually but there was a bit of challenge in his voice.

"We didn't break up or anything," Logan informed him. "She's still unavailable."

Sam sighed. "Look, no matter what happens, I'm not interested in your girl, so let's just get that out there, okay? I know you don't like that I share a room with Lilly, but you don't have to worry that anything will ever happen between us because that's just not the way I am."
