Bellatrix was walking along with a muffin in one hand and a cup of tea in the other. She tilted her head and smiled at the stranger. "Good morning."

"Good morning," Elena greeted.

Bellatrix held out part of her muffin, "Hungry?"

Elena was starving, but still too cautious to take food from a stranger on the street. "No, thanks, I'm fine," she said.

Bellatrix shrugged and broke off a piece and popped it into her mouth. "Are you new here too?" She said tilting her head taking in the duffle bag.

"Yeah, I'm going to be teaching up at the school starting soon," Elena explained. "How long have you been in town?"

"About two weeks." She said taking a sip of tea from her cup. "What are you teaching?"

[elenamichaels]

"Journalism," Elena said. "Are you a student?"

"I am." She nodded, "I sat in on a few classes, they seem interesting enough." She took another muffin bite, "What sort of things will you have students working on for journalism?"

[elenamichaels]

"I'm going to start with a basic overview course to see what students are interested in," Elena said. "We'll touch on print journalism, radio, television and the internet."

She sniffed a few times, trying to place what seemed odd about the girl, but then shook it off. She wrote it off to just not having spent a lot of time around humans. "Think you might be interested in something like that?"

Bellatrix frowned in confusion, internet? She remembered television from her first night here. She nodded slowly, "It sounds nice."

"I hope so," Elena said. "I've taught before, but I got my degree in journalism and have worked as a freelance reporter for a number of years."

"Degree? You have a level of journalism?"

[elenamichaels]

Elena nodded. "Yeah, just my Bachelor's. I couldn't go on to my Masters because of... family issues."

Master must be like a chief warlock of journalism or something Bellatrix nodded in understanding. "I think all families have issues."

"That's why I'm here to start over on my own," Elena admitted.
