House was looking really worn down now. The staff were useless to bounce diagnoses off of, the idiot in exam room one was no fun at all, and... he was rather afraid he'd have to call in Cameron. That was not a prospect he enjoyed at all.

"Don't know," Sam said, settling reluctantly back against the pillows. "Some demon -- had to be, he was strong. Really strong. Couldn't see him, he kicked dirt into my eyes. Stabbed me in the stomach."
He laughed bitterly. "Hell of a job I'm going to be able to do of taking care of you now, broken this way."
