House sat at the front desk, though he looked a little haggard.

Probably hadn't gotten much sleep.

Alas, not for fun reasons. He was grumptastic; if you pushed him, he would probably bite.

Savannah was in and out of consciousness. What had happened still had her scared and upset. That, plus nightmares, and you ahve a very unhappy witch as a patient.

Piper was there in the morning. She had been there the whole night and hadn't actually gone home yet.

When Savannah saw that Piper was still there, she gave her a faint smile.

"Shouldn't you get some sleep?"

Piper would track him down herself if she had to. And cause serious pain.

"She's safe. I promise," Piper said. "I'm gonna ask her if she wants to stay at the house for awhile since you'll be staying with me."

Maybe she should have asked Savannah first. But she was really going to have to insist.

She wished so much she could have protected Savannah yesterday.
