Etiquette for All Occasions, Tuesday (10/23)
It was back to the usual classroom today, and as soon as the students were assembled, Rochester tapped his cane on the floor to get their attention.
"Today, my dears, I want you to try something a little different. The theme we're working with today is Customer Service. I want you to think of a situation you've experienced where you were on one side of the merchant-customer relationship, and the person on the other side exhibited poor manners, poor business practices, or was simply downright uncouth. Then I want you to find a partner, and demonstrate that behavior. Your partner's job will be to make use of good etiquette to turn the situation into a positive experience. Don't make it too easy for them, but play nicely with each other."
