[8/9] Home Economics: Cooking, Thursday Afternoon
Sasami stands in the head kitchette looking at the class, Ryo-Ohki sitting on top of her head. On the counter are the ingredients for Apple pie, Peach pie, Strawberry pie and Lemon Meringue pie. She also have fully baked and ready to eat pies on the counter for the students to sample if they so chose.
"It seems time is coming to close for this class, since this is the second to our last class together. We are going to be baking pies today. I picked out some old standards as far as pie baking goes and the recipes are fairly straight-forward. But if you have any questions you are always free to ask me or ask Kaname. Today you can work in pairs or teams of three," Sasami said cheerfully.
"As for next week's class, we will be meeting in the Serf at the YMCA. Your last assignment for that class will be to bring in a dish that you have prepared yourself. It can be a main dish, a side dish or a dessert but it must be prepared by you. Please don't try to cheat. I can tell when someone is trying to be deceptive. And I really hate the idea of failing anyone because they tried to pass a store bought cake off as their own," she added with a slight frown. "Now let's start baking."
