Whats Black and white and has a 4' stick?
Not one of my jokes more the only description of the person I saw trying to steal cat_in_a_box's bag at 4.45am this morning.....
Woken up by the sound of the front door grill shaking very distinct in my house, not sure if it was someone coming or leaving, heard the noise again and then the letterbox, looked out of the window and saw nothing, checked upstairs and saw nothing, went back to bed.
10 mins later heard quiet footsteps past my window and the grill again, looked out of the window and saw a light colored top and a pair of black tracksuit bottoms with a white strip down the leg (obviously not belonging to anyone from my house.) went up stairs to find a 4' branch, stick whatever poking thru my letterbox with cat_in_a_box's bag on the end of it a shout of 'Can I help you mate?' and a yank of the stick later they were gone and hopefully will not happen again.
One sleepless night later and hopefully they are not stupid enough to try again.
