The ritual didn't take long. Pretty much this was what was becoming of us. Was this my shanshu? No, but it was something better, something more powerful. I am finally something that mattered, mattered more than Angelus could ever think of. Even though I could hear him screaming inside of me to stop, what? Was he scared? Just like Faith who was back

If it had been Angelus I knew I might have given in and I wondered if Angel would feel betrayed by that. It wasn't like there was anything left! We had to kill some little girl already dyin' of the super flu and it didn't matter, cause everyone was dead anyway. Anyone I ever cared about. Almost everyone. Not him though. And I wasn't gonna let this thing get him either. Not when he was the only thing I had left.
Pulling my legs back I kicked him unapologetically in the chest, so hard it sent him smashing into the wall behind him before he fell to the floor. That was for the punch to the face I took a few minutes ago.
"You're wrong." I said, finally standin' up and glowering down at him. "It's not bigger than both of us. It's bigger than me. You're possessed by some demon, Angel and I'm gonna kill it and then this bigger thing? Will mostly be a deader thing."
He started to get up but I quickly kicked him in the face and sent him back to the floor again, blood from his mouth staining the hardwood floors as I walked towards the weapon cabinet. Knock Angel's ass out and then I was gonna go kick the ass of whatever this thing was. Hopefully Wes would catch up with me soon and give me the skinny on what was what.

Quickly, I might add.
I started to get up but she kicked me in the fucking face making me fall back and then face first onto the hardwood floor. I could taste the blood from my mouth as I opened my eyes and watched her sideways walking to the cabinet where the weapons were kept.
"Think you're going to get rid of me? Not likely. Besides, if you get rid of me you'll never see your Angel again," I grinned as I lay there, trying to gather wits and strength to get up. For right now, I was fine. I didn't think she'd do anything to me because I did look like him, then again, she was fiesty.
Sitting up suddenly, I was on my feet and on her so fast that I knocked a weapon from her hands and pushed her against the wall.
"Think you can stop this? You have no idea what you're up against little girl. Think I was wrong about you. I can find a new woman to be by my side. You? You I can just kill. After I have my way with you."

"Angel," I struggled to keep my voice calm, having to kill every instinct in my body not to fight him as he pressed me into the wall. "Angel, I know you're in there somewhere. Something possessed you. I need you to just back the fuck off of me right now so I can go kill this thing." I stared at him for a second but all he did was grin and I knew Angel had left the building. He was gonna be gone until I did something permanant.
"Sorry. I don't play house with psychopaths." I whispered before smashing my forehead into his nose. It surprised him enough so that he loosened his grip on me and dropped me to the ground. He grabbed for me but I ducked underneath him and scurried across the floor. Where had the gun gone? He wasn't gonna let me make a break for it so I was gonna have to knock his ass out.
Racing towards the room I'd been in earlier I finally found the gun. My hand closed around it and I went to swing it around when I was greeted with a fist in my stomach. I fell to the floor hard, momentarily winded as he grabbed the gun from me. Fuck. I was so screwed.

I moved out of the way as she hit the floor, but reached forward, grabbing for the gun.
"...Angel ... I know you're in there ..." I said in a mocking tone as I smiled gleefully at her, neverminding the blood that I could smell first hand coming from my face. Landed a nice, swift kick to her ribs and brought the gun up, inspecting it. Rolling my eyes, I tossed it. I didn't need it and niether did she.
Reaching over, I pulled her up by her hair and dragged her out of the room. "Now if you can't play nice with me, then you're not going to play at all, little girl," I told her in an almost authoritive tone as I dragged her up the stairs and into one of the rooms. Shoving her on the bed hard, I closed the door behind me and watched her.
"See ... I don't see what the big deal is, Faith. We're going to be ... important. The top of the top and people are going to be answering to us. Don't you want that?"
There was no reasoning with her, not when she was looking up at me like that. So angry. Poor fucking baby. Making my way toward the bed, I leaned down, resting my hands on it as I looked at her. "You should be grateful someone actually wants you."

"What people?" I practically spat at him, sittin' up in just enough time for him to shove me back down and trap me with his arms on either side of me. "There's no one left, dumbass. They're all fucking dead. What's the point in being on top of that?" My frown deepened when he said that thing. That thing that could really get under my skin. I should be grateful that anyone even wanted me.
Well, someone did. Angel did and I had to get him back. Course I couldn't do that if I was too busy tanglin' with the psychopath.
"What the fuck do you want?" I almost growled up at him as he looked down at me. "What are you trying to do?" Hey, it was always a good idea to get info from the enemy before you attempted to kick it's ass and where the hell was Wesley anyway? I had to kill almost every impulse in my body not to just keep kickin' his ass until one of us couldn't take it anymore.

"What do I want?" I echoed her question and stood up as I looked down at her. "See, there's this thing that we need to get to. I wanted to bring you to it because you wanted to be there, but now I know that isn't going to happen, so let's see ..." I trailed off as I tapped my chin, watching her. Thinking that I need to tie her up somehow, but I needed to go and find the rope in this house. Whatever, I'd figure out a way somehow.
An uneeded sigh escaped my lips as I rolled my eyes. "Look, we're getting married, we're going to be queen and king of the underworld of the people who are making their way to dear old California," I said sharply. "I need you because honestly? You're one hot chick and I haven't seen a hotter one around here because just as you said everyone is dead. So. Shall we go?" I grinned and reached out, grabbing her hand as I pulled her off the bed.
She was going to go kicking and screaming if that's what it took.

I raised an eyebrow when he said he picked me out because I was a hot chick and everyone else was dead. Definitely not Angelus. This guy couldn't seduce his way out of a wet paper bag. Suddenly he was grabbin' my hand and pullin' me up from the bed so hard I almost went sailin' into the wall near the door.
Yankin' my hand out of his grip I turned towards him and eyed the door. How fast would I have to run to get past him. My eyes scaled around the room lookin' for another escape route but I knew we were on like the third floor with nothin' below us but concrete and sand. No conveniant trucks to drive by at the perfect moment.
No way around this guy. I was just gonna have to fight him and that was fine. I could do that. I'd just knock his pretty ass out before goin' off to fight this demon guy. That I knew nothing about. Or where to find it. Shit. I needed to find Wes.
"You left out one part. I'm one hot chick who's gonna kick your ass." With a smirk I spun around quick and kicked him hard in the chest. If he thought I was just gonna lay down and take it? He got another thing comin'. "So come on let's do this. Cause I got a demon to kill."

"We have to be somewhere, don't you get that? Don't you understand? How many times do I have to say it!?" I was getting more and more angry by the second and another punch landed, then another and before I knew when to say when, I stopped and looked down at her limp body.
"You might be hot baby, but that doesn't mean you're going to kick my ass," I said to the non responsive body as I stood back up. Pulling her off of the bed, I picked her up and cradled her before walking downstairs and down to the car.
Now we could have the ceremony and then ... everything would change.

Blinking, I turned my head to the left and saw who was behind the wheel. Angel. Nope. Not Angel. He was possessed by something that was makin' him crazy and he knocked me out because.....because we were supposed to get married?
Quickly I jerked to grab the wheel of the car and realized that I couldn't move. My wrists were locked firmly together behind my back and all I could do was squirm in the seat, tryin' to wake up the rest of the way and get myself loose. Fuck. This was bad. Really fucking bad.
"Ahhh. Good, you're awake." A dry voice came from the backseat and I didn't even have to turn around to know it was Wesley. "I take it you don't need me to tell you that you are in serious danger here, Faith."
I snorted at that because it was gettin' a little obvious what with bein' knocked out and tied up.
"Where are we going?" I demanded, turning to Angel who was still drivin'.

Turning up the radio louder, I started to sing along as we drove until she demaned to know where we were going.
"If I have to sing We're Going to the Chapel, will you get a clue?" I asked her and reached my hand out, running my fingers down her face before taking them back to the wheel.
"Married dear." I smiled happily at that. Dear. "Then everything is going to fall into place and then I will finally be the fucking antichrist. I swear, I thought it would take me until 2056, but nope, you coming along? It came early. Nodding my head, I smiled at her and tilted my head. "He'll like you. He'll give us a nice home warming present. I'm thinking something in black."
I turned down a road suddenly as I sped off down it. Nothing but desert, but a small little building and I'm thinking that was it.
"Oh honey, we're here and you're not wearing white," I joked and rubbed her thigh as I drove into town.

He'll like me? Who was he and why was he gonna give me a present? A wedding present in black? The antichrist? This was all goin' downhill way too quickly and my middle name was Royally Fucked.
I didn't have anything to hang onto and when he turned a sharp corner I slammed into the door. Wannabe Angel didn't even seem to notice as he sped off down the street before announcing that we were here. Where was here? My heart suddenly froze up as I turned around wildly to see if Wes was still in the backseat. He was, starin' at Angel kind've grimly.
"Little help would be nice!" I bit out at him as both him and Angel turned to look at me. Except Angel was lookin' wicked confused and Wes just looked....desperate. He wasn't the only one either. Things were gettin' bad. Really fucking bad.
"I don't know what else to do, Faith." Wesley said in a sad voice and just like that I blinked and he was gone. That was it? He didn't know what else to do and now he was leavin' me?
"Wait!" I yelled out suddenly, ignoring Angel as he stared at me confused, his hand resting coldly on my thigh. "Come back!" I didn't wanna be alone.

"Get out of the fucking car," I bit out and got out, slamming it as I walked to the other side, opening up her door and pulling her out. "Oh, right. Tied up, can't do much can you?" I smirked and slammed her door before walking up to the small building and taking her inside.
"We're here, let's get hitched," I said lightly and walked Faith in front of me, holding onto her with one arm around her hip. Leaning in close, I kissed her neck as she tried to protest and get away. "Don't worry baby, papa's going to take good care of you. You'll be itching for a climax in no time," I grinned and ran my other hand down her body as a demon came into view.
Minister? I could only hope.
"Oh, so I've noticed you two have arrived and how is the bride today?" He asked and I gave Faith a long look before looking at the demon.
"Oh, she's doing spiffy ... let's get this over with, we don't have that much time."
"That we don't."

His arm was around my hips and I could feel his cold lips on my throat as I grimaced in disgust. This was bad and kinda reminding me of a time not so long ago when I went head to head with Angelus.
I saw something coming into view and I quickly yanked myself from Angel's grip and turned around tryin' to nail him with a roundhouse kick. But he only caught my foot and sent me sailing back to the ground hard. I blinked tryin' to make the little tweety birds circling around my head go away and once they had I could only see a demon glowering down at me.
"Spiffy huh? She looks a little riled up to me." The demon said before he snapped his gnarled fingers and people began makin' their way out of the woodwork. Not demons. People. Or at least I thought they were people. Kinda hard to tell when my slay senses were gettin' all whacked out between Angel and the dude hovering over me. "There's no time to waste. If we're going to do this, we're going to do this." The demon turned back to the horde of girls surrounding him. "Why don't you get her ready."
Just then a bunch of the girls swarmed around me, hauling me up to my feet and pullin' me over to a corner where a white dress where another girl came out with a white dress. Guess he was wrong. I was gonna be wearin' white.

"Get changed. Be ready in five minutes." Rolling my eyes as the demon walked away, I walked into another room and saw the pants and shirt that I was supposed to wear. Well, gee, I get a wardrobe too. Quickly pulling off my clothes, I got dressed in the others and felt around my hair, making sure everything was in place. I could hear the girls in the other room and I sure did hope that Faith was enjoying herself. I grinned at that. Just a little while longer and then everything we knew would just be ... brighter. Shinier. More pretty, yeah?
Oh yes.
Walking out of the room, I looked around, noticing the other people that were watching me. Followers? Of course. "Stop." Stopping where I was, I sighed and turned around, noticing that the demon had changed into ... well ... something else. I almost started laughing, but then stopped myself when he walked past with a book and stood there.
"Now we wait."
Well, isn't this loads of fun. "Wait? No. Get her out. Now. I want this over with."

"Let me go you fucking bitch!" I hissed out at one of them as she pushed me down onto the bed and then they started chattering happily and brushing my hair and pulling it half up like I was going to a fucking high school prom or something. I was gettin' hitched? To the psycho in the other room wearin' Angel's body? Don't fucking think so!
After my hair was done they fussed around with a bunch of other crap before bringin' the dress closer. Pushing me over onto my stomach, I felt the knife slicing through the rope around my wrists. Instantly I tried to flail out at them but about ten of them latched onto each arm and held me still as they pulled the dress on over my head. White. Who'd have thought I'd get married in white. After they were done they retied my hands and hauled me back up and out the door where Angel was waitin'.
I almost sucked in a breath cause damn...he cleaned up nice. Not that I didn't already know that but still.
"Aren't there laws against this kinda thing?" I asked smartly as I was pushed towards Angel. "Cause if you're expectin' me to say I do? You got another thing comin'."
