dreams are tied to a horse that will never tire
Late as always, but happy new year. It's still the first week, so I'm still allowed, right?
Had a great holiday - got home to see the folks and my sister (with her boyfriend, who is a great guy). She got a Wii from him and we spent most of Christmas day playing with it. Mom even got into it when she saw she could play tennis. Then we all piled outside to, in theory, shovel the walk but ended up in a snow ball fight. We heard from Joe which was cool - he couldn't say where he was but we're sorta used to that. He's doing well which mostly made the day.
For new years, I had an unexpected, but not unwelcome, buddy stop in Phoenix and we got to ring in the new year. It was good to catch up with him. Talked to my grandpa about resolutions and am already behind on it. I'll get to it tomorrow.
On ice is a little rough right now. We've lost some key guys and we're sorta held together with duct tape and string and it's starting to show. The all star break will do us some good I think - get our heads and bodies back whole.
