(no subject)
I really, really glad that I went to the Job Centre today to waste about an hour or so of my life for no good reason. I was meant to have my claim for Job Seeker's allowance sorted out today, but it turns out that I can't claim it until January because, apparently, my parents are still getting child benefit for me. It's quite annoying. So...I'll have to fill those forms in again in January. Wonderful...just wonderful.
I bought Speak n Destroy and A Prayer Under Pressure of Violent Anguish by My Ruin whilst out (in a 2 CD set). The service in MVC is...well, bad. I'm may go elsewhere in future...but I want to build up the points on my card. I'm not exactly sure what they're for though. I also bought orange fanta, a snickers and some chilli doritos which until a few seconds ago I had forgotten about, so I'm going to get them from my room and eat them. I rather like the CDs.
And, we'll probably be going to see Iron Maiden at the MEN next week. Woohoo. I think my dad's getting the tickets from his mate Al again (the same guy who got us the tickets for Motorhead & The Wildhearts)...it's on the same night as Nickleback apparently...I know where I'd rather be...
