for the great nudge back to writing and the great suggestions on how to continue! Couldn't have done it without you guys! ^_^

Aw, yay! You're welcome. Nat gets the main credit for being the best Muse, however. Congrats on grooming the plotbunnies and completing the arc of your story. Although I like the tragic ambiguity of finishing it at Chapter 6, taking a year to age and craft the ending that feels right to YOU, the author, is truly a gift worth waiting for.

To go from years without any sensation whatsoever to awakening through the worst pain she’d ever know[n]

I'm a relatively new fan, so bear with me; I haven't seen all the eps. Are hosts anesthetized to tactile sensation? Because whoa, that sucks, given that hot sex with Ba'al of the Awesomely Ripped Bare Arms would've at least made being a host bearable! ;-)

His stuttering and and his flustered appearance tugged at her mouth

Yes, Daniel has that effect on the ENTIRE fandom, Vala. Get used to it.

“No, Martouf just kept going on and on.”

ROFLMAO Poor Sam!

“Well how about you and me find a training room and see how I measure up to you in this timeline?”

Teal'c will still pwn you, Cam, despite your Sodan Boot Camp training. ;-)

Sam shot out of her seat and put her hand out in front of the Tok’ra to halt her progress.

TEAM SQUEEEEEEEE

“If we could rebuild it, we could go back in time and fix the timelines.” She turned to Teal’c. “That way the Jaffa would be free,” she turned to Freya, “and the Goa’uld would be vanquished.”

Leave it to Sam to be the architect of the narrative suspense of the story! Yay Sam FTW!

“Seriously though,” Cam began as he munch on a sweet-tasting piece of yellow fruit, “shouldn’t we be checkin’ on those two?”

I love your Cam so much I wanna squish him!

“Is that all?” She asked, shocked and amused.

OMG It's Vala with her sarcastic sense of humor!

She looked so much like his Vala had when she thought the base psychiatrist was going to give her a failing grade. It was the look she made when she was trying to convince herself she didn’t care that she wasn’t accepted.

::sigh:: Thanks for the beautiful flashback to canon and the emotions it brings.

Cam let out a breath of relief as they thought of the woman who had to be institutionalized after her experience.

I wonder if Sarah and Orlin are in the same facility...? Given security protocols, isn't there a likely chance?

“Gloat some more, why don’tcha?” Cam called after [him] amiably. Daniel knocked on Vala’s door and when it opened, he turned to throw Cam a teasing smirk before he entered.

Heh heh heh: subtle Daniel/Cam moment. :-D But still a nice Team moment, too.

“May I enter?” The familiar stranger asked.

At first I was thinking Teal'c! But that would TOTALLY freak out Vala at this point.

Bravo!

Holy crap it is *awesome* to get reviews like this! ^_^ I'm with you on that tragic ambiguity (little known fact but I was going to end my vid "Somewhere" without voice-overs, thereby giving absolutely no concrete conclusion to the whole arc *cackles*) For this fic however, you're right, it didn't feel right to me to end it there :P

Hosts, to my understanding, have their consciousness buried deep deep deep inside and can't affect anything in the least. And when Goa'uld's are injured, they exhibit the signs of pain themselves so I would assume that the neural pathways for everything including pain and pleasure are rerouted to the symbiote. Just my theory though :P

I had never thought of that before but you're probably right! It would make the most sense to keep all alien-aftermath people in the same facility.

Totally loving how the ending actually has people in suspense! :D And I loved going through all your comments, it gives me such a good look into what's really working. Thanks for the awesomely fantastic review! :D
