Is it a bad thing to have a large age gap between you and the person you're dating, or married to?  How much is too big of an age gap?  I didn't think much of it before, but lately it's really been bothering me!  I thought age didn't matter with love!

Well, it would depend on the situation, I think, and the people. But if the younger person is okay with it and isn't pushed into anything too serious until they're old enough, then it should be okay?

Ah, I just mean old enough for more adult aspects of a relationship. So really, whenever they think they're ready and they're comfortable with it. But I think there are laws about that in some places so maybe you can just go by that.

Back when I went home, my Mama showed up, and everyone got to meet her, and they were all really surprised because she was a lot younger than Papa! I didn't even think of it before.

How much the age difference matters depends on how much you love each other, I think. If you love each other so much that the age difference doesn't matter to you, then it doesn't. Everything else is just other people.

Though I'd still recommend taking things slowly to make sure you're in love, just to be safe, but still.
