This place is really neat, now that I can really take a look at it! Vash is all grown up, which is definitely something weird, but I know it's him, so that's all that matters. And Rem's here, so that's good, too!
The technology is kind of old, though. I'm not really used to doors that don't open by themselves when you walk up to them on a motion sensor. I think I almost hit one going from bed to the kitchen for water, but I can't really remember. It's kind of early in the morning--8:30 or so. I've been up since about 6. The morning here is pretty. Back on the ships, you didn't get a sunrise unless you happened to be going past a moon or something that you were on the right horizon of. It's really fun to see a lot of stars, but this is way better. I hope the day is really long; the sun is nice.
Sorry to those kids I was talking to last night when I first got here. Vash just arrived, and that was important!
