Last update in Saratov
Howdy folks!!!
It's a not-so-beautiful day here in Saratov. It's foggy, grey, not cold enough, and damp everywhere. And someone spilled beer in our elevator sometime between last night and this morning, so the elevator has an interesting smell now.
I have managed to pack my things into my two suitcases, which is really fairly amazing. I packed very carefully!! But, Bjorn tells me that when I get to the airport on Tuesday, they're probably going to make me UNPACK EVERYTHING right in the airport so they can see it, and then I'll have to pack it all back up. I will be very not happy about that, especially if I have to unpack my entire Lomonosov tea service, which is currently very happy in its temporary cardboard-and-bubble wrap home. Anyway.
I still don't want to leave, and I think it probably hasn't hit me that I'm leaving quite yet. My train heads out in about four hours, and I have lots to do before then. So, I'm going to sign off here. I'll call people (or will try to call people) when I get home. Talk to/see you all later!!!
