Relaxed

So, there is one month of school left this semester. 4 weeks. Plus 1 final the first day of finals. I'm ALMOST free! I feel like that's SO close, mainly because it's seemed so far away for so long. I mean, 1.5 months even seems like forever, but once you get into the counting weeks phase it seems like nothing! That means it's just a bit more than a month until I see Scott again! Classes are going pretty well, other than a couple WOAH WAIT grades here and there I'm doing really well. I'm taking a break from work at the moment so have ridiculous amounts of free time on my hands, so I'm taking time to relax and stay sane, and do things for myself. Which gets me to the topic of today's post.

Take care of yourself! There is no way you can succeed in life or relationships or school if you don't look out for yourself first. People are attracted to "together" people. It's hard to do in this hellish world. Especially those of you who are in college and away from friends and family. It's hard to do when you're juggling a new job, or facing a life changing event or decision. But it's important. I discovered this weekend how amazing it is to just take a day for yourself. Don't stress about work or classes or homework or relationships or whatever. Just go do something fun, alone or with friends, whatever, just drama free fun. Blow a little money on yourself, you can stress about the repercussions later. Treat yourself to something unhealthy but DELICIOUS! Go see a movie that you've been wanting to see but no one will go with you. Just, do something you want to do because you want to do it, NO OTHER REASON! You will have such an amazing, refreshed outlook on life, and be able to face all those things that have been overwhelming you with a new strenght. So, yes, take care of yourself. You'll notice, people will notice, and you'll thank yourself for it later.
