I'm focused, determined, and rarring to go. My skills have improved dramatically. I can finally see why I had no problem convincing Chef that I should be Lead Gardemanger in Hawaii. I've been getting ready for something like this for the last three years now. Its good to realize that amounts of time are being paid off.
I used to be afraid of the dark. Terribly so. Every night now I walk down a path through forest and rocks, some 2 and 3 foot drops, across a flucuating river, and past a beach up to a little spot I've claimed as a home in near pitch black darkness. Sometimes its bright enough to not need a light, as when the moon is full and shining in all it's glory. Most times I can barely see 2 feet in front of my face. And...I enjoy it for the most part. Good to realize there is nothing sinister about the dark.
A wise man told me once...The feelings that surround you, the thoughts swirling in your mind, are what you make them. What once was Sinister will become Peaceful at the speed of thought.
