Lurgy No Longer Eating Brain
Feeling generally better today - well not coughing and spluttering every couple of minutes which I am going to take as a win. My fabulous friend Lyn spirited me over to her house yesterday, mothered me with belgian chocolate deserts and lemon myrtle steam inhalations. We watched a couple of complete chick flicks - don juan de marco and music & lyrics. As I explained to Lyn, Don Juan is excellent and music & lyrics is just boiled lollies. Palatable but nothing of substance.
Made a judgement call (okay fell asleep on the couch and it was too much trouble to go to bed in the wee small hours of the morning) but this meant that I had the least disturbed night of sleep I've had in 4 days which was great. One of our 2 cats, the muppet brothers, had joined me when I woke up this morning. I'm not sure if it was Floyd or Dr Teeth - couldn't see their collar and they are looking far too similar at present for me to tell them apart with first awake brain.
Going to potter around the house, do loads of washing and prepare to be amazing kicking butt person at work. Am seriously hoping the contractor was fired on Friday when I was ill otherwise I will have to do it tomorrow and it is never fun.
