This is so heartbreakingly wonderful. Poor Annie :( I feel so bad for her, struggling to get over Jeff and realizing it's pointless because she's so in love with him. And of course the last letter is the one she would send--not at all what she *really* wants to say to him, but the only way to guarantee he won't break her heart any further.

This is really good. I hope you write more.

when it comes to writing Annie, I feel like with everything that happened in the second season, she's slowly beginning to realize that she needs to grow up and distance herself from Jeff if she wants to salvage anything romantic between them. at least, that's how I'm imagining it in my head when I write! ;)

Oh, Annie. My heart breaks for her. Love the way you wrote these. You've got a firm grasp on Annie's voice. And these letters all say so much with very few words.

I'm not going to lie, this didn't turn out exactly like I had hoped, but I think it at least covers most of what I was trying to get across. I feel like Annie's really trying to become her own person, but is so obviously struggling with everything that's going on with her and Jeff.

This was sweet, funny, and heartbreaking. Really nice job. I love that Annie finally gets the Fatal Attraction reference and she's offended someone would think she'd boil a bunny. Also, daytime stargazing sounds amazing and very Greendalian.

I think Annie finally getting that reference was something I can totally imagine happening in the show--along with her being highly offended by it. It was also pretty awesome to think up the Greendale classes. They just seem like the kind of unbelievable classes they'd offer.

yay! I'm so glad you liked it!

I think, for me at least, the hardest part for writing J/A fic is making sure the angst and the humor balance each other out. The show is very clearly a comedy that has more touching moments, but it's not a drama. I wanted to make Annie's feelings true to life, but also true to the show. I'm glad you liked it!
