THIS IS SO GREAT. SO, SO, SO.

I would keep expressing my happiness in capslock, but that's annoying, so please know that my every thought regarding this story is basically represented best by a giant: !!!!!!!!!

I love fic like this A LOT. More than, say, any kind of epic that is both lyrical and beautiful and deep and woven with overly stylized metaphors. Barf, no thanks! However, a story that can be taken straight out of canon with ease? MY FAVORITE. And this was so realistic and wonderfully in character, and I love-love-love that Jeff was so bored by the idea of Annie missing while everyone else flipped out--

(This line was hilarious: In a completely unprecedented move, Pierce is the one voice of reason. “Oh, please,” he says loudly. “I don’t answer my phone half the time - do you all think I’m dead when I don’t answer?” SO GOOD!)

--and the ending! Aw! It doesn't even ping my fluff-detector, it feels nice and right.

Also, this made me for realssss laugh out loud:

(then he makes a joke about how perfect his abs are, and then he expects whoever he’s talking to to laugh. Seriously. He will stare at you until you laugh. He once pulled up his shirt in the middle of an anthropology lesson just to show Troy his abs)

The whole visual of it is WONDERFULLY FUNNY.

Basically: joy! Thanks for sharing!

Whoa, epic comment is epic!

I'd thank you, but I feel like that's horribly underwhelming for a review like this...so I'll thank you times infinity squared, I suppose, and pray that that's good enough. :P
