It was interesting to see how the cast has changed in the years since Community left the air.

Bit shocker number 1: Dan was sober! ACTUALLY SOBER! And he looked like he took a shower in the recent past. Honestly, this is the most coherent he's been since mid-S3. Whatever it he lost somewhere along the way, he seems to have gotten it back. Also, he's wearing a wedding ring (?!?). Based on what I could publicly find out, he's not remarried, although he does appear to be in a long-term relationship. He also seems to have lost a little weight. And based on what I could find out, it appears he's ending Harmontown. He mentioned at some point during the panel that he's seeing a therapist. He looks healthy! Good for him if he's gotten his life back on track.

Yvette also looks good, but she has been looking good for awhile. She's also gotten a lot better at free-form comedic riffing, as well. I know we've all heard her tell the story about the shit-in-the-desk scene in "Introduction to Statistics" that she had to talk Dan out of writing. But this is honestly the best and funniest telling of it I've heard. Just aces all around from her. I wonder if it's because she's more confident in being a funny lady that she might not have been in the past.

Alison...you can tell her two closest friends on the cast are Danny and Ken. She and Ken riff off of each other makes me think they probably see each other more than social media would imply. Also, it appears she's calmed down a lot from her sometimes over-the-top theater kid antics from past Community panels. She joked that Betty told her that after seeing the Community out-takes she was floored that Alison acted so silly on the Community set, yet was so serious on the GLOW set. The punchline? "I'm trying to be an adult now!"

Gillian overall was the same, although you can tell she is 1,000% over doing the "Me So Hungry" dance from "Remedial Chaos Theory." She most definitely did NOT want to do it. The fact that everyone on stage pressured her into doing it was not on (IMHO).

Joel seems a bit more reserved that he has on past panels. It wasn't a case of him not wanting to be there (it's obvious he was glad to be there), but it feels like he was more faded in the background than in the past. His big thing was that he didn't have favorite episodes, per se. More like he had favorite scenes that seemed to be completely divorced from the overall episode.

Jim, Ken, and Danny all seemed very much the same.

Everyone in the cast said they absolutely would do a movie. And it's pretty clear that Dan is pretty much the hold-up. Based on the conversation around it, Dan seems to have complicated reasons for why he hasn't done anything with Community as property. I think it's one part Donald Glover, one part Rick and Morty, one part concern that members of the cast would back out on him, one part his typical procrastination dysfunction, and one part self-doubt. It isn't because he's sick of it, though. He said that Community basically remains his favorite child, so to speak.

Aaaaand, since this is a shipping community (heh), to keep it on top, there was NO discussion of ships. It was pretty much focused on the show as a whole and episodes (although there was A LOT of discussion around Conspiracy Theories and Interior Design. So there is that.)

Very much worth the hour or so watch.
