I'm not sure if I've already left a comment, but I'm really loving this series. I mostly love how you're keeping things interesting by keeping them at cross purposes. Hah. And Annie is so empowered even from the first chapter, that it's easy to forget how lovesick she once was for Troy. I have to admit that I'm missing the insecure Annie a little bit, but even in S1 she was already coming into her own so this is just natural progression.

Jeff though... not only is he being walled off, but his competition is a guy that could be him, but better. It's like Beginner Pottery all over again, and worse. And I love this particular segment because Jeff is soooo not getting his way. I'm currently happy imagining what'll transpire to make the odds go back in his favor :D

I'm glad the fact that I haven't sent them flying into each other's arms yet isn't getting old.

I know Annie's empowerment might be a little OOC, but there's a storm brewing that I hope will make things a little clearer.

As for Luc being Canadian!Jeff but better, I wouldn't say that just yet. Although, to be honest, it's just way more fun to write Annie keeping Jeff off kilter. (As the beginning of the next chapter should make clear...)

(Um, who isn't an Austen fan, closet or otherwise? And you know Britta totally would be, as the books weren't just about dresses and marriage but sexual politics.)

Well. It's not like I hated Vaughn or his Canadian counterpart, so the part where everyone is being rude to him?

Yeah. They're kind of going to question that behavior after the next chapter.

I'm sad that things are weird between Jeff and Annie. And I don't like Luc for obvious reasons. But it was still a great chapter.
And lol, I loved Britta in this chapter.

Yay! The rest of your fic is up, and I'm going to go read it after I click 'post'.

I was sad when things were weird between them in "Football, Feminism and You" and "English as a Second Language", so I don't particularly like writing them being all weird and mean to each other. Although, the lunch table scene with Abed an Britta made up for it a little.

(And if you don't like Luc now, wait until chapter 8. You're going to want to duct tape him to a flag pole.)

Yeah, I know it's short. but the next chapter should make up for that. It's looking like it's going to be a monster.

There's going to be a little bit more of jealous!Jeff, but then he's going to be another kind of Jeff that I hope will make people go "awww."

I kind of feel bad fo the VCC students in classes with our Greendale group: like, can you imagine Abed coming into your class as a transient student and giving one of his little speeches and you don't know him well enough to know if he's serious or insane or what.
