Speculation Thread for 601
Knowing that we know now that 602 will air as the premiere (though there’s been nothing said or suggested otherwise that 601 won’t be airing before it, I might add, given the news on Twitter that we've seen so far) do you think that this might mean a possible two-parter which would equal a one hour premiere like 501/502 when S5 was airing? Also, if this is the case, how would you like them to address the fallout of the S5 finale? Considering Community’s track record with Anthropology 101 and Biology 101 just tackling the unresolved issues from the previous season head-on, how possible do you believe it might be that J/A and the fallout of the S5 finale will be addressed in the premiere (I personally wouldn’t mind it dragging on for a few more episodes) or do you think that it’s possible for it to happen throughout some of the earlier episodes, that fallout?
Would you like the S6 premiere to pick up only a few days or possibly a week after the S5 finale, or do you think that there’ll be a time skip? Also, the Russo brothers are set to be directing 602 and they said here that Harmon and Chris Mckenna are “cooking up something very cool” for us all, so what exactly do you think they meant by that? Does it mean that the S6 premiere will be big and grand and action-y (like an asteroid almost striking Greendale?) and a bit romance-y? Considering it’s Harmon and McKenna though, this could mean anything to be honest.
If big J/A things do happen in the first two-three episodes, how would you like it to go? Would you like to see some romantic buildup and some heartfelt, earnest conversation between Jeff and Annie, possibly leading to a kiss and a relationship upgrade? Or would you rather they are a couple already (though I wouldn’t like that, personally) as we enter the new season?
(Also, I hope that this is something okay with the mods? And I was thinking that we could start another more general discussion thread once more info on the episodes releases but I'm really posting this because I thought it would be fun to see what people are wanting the S6 premiere to be like.)
