So, I'm just going to post . . .

Course Listing Unavailable: As far as the lawyer goes, I think it totally could be Evil Jeff, but if it was, it was kind of a random reference to get dropped, although I guess it did forshadow the Season Finale, and maybe Dan had a bigger plan for the whole Evil Study Group takeover but had to change it. As it is, it's a cool reference, but it made me hope for the whole Evil Study Group to cross over.

I have mixed thoughts about the Britta therapy thing, but I did like how she was legitimately trying to help, and Jeff's asides in that conversation are some of my favorite things ever. I also love how Troy is supportive of Britta (stupid season 4), and how Jeff was perfectly fine until he found out about the need for Summer School-- then the morning started.

As far as the riot thing goes, lunarblue21 and I have talked in the past about how the interplay between Jeff's speech and Annie's could be read as "coupley"-- Annie takes her cue from him, and she surprises the Dean by definitely not being the "sugar" to Jeff's "spice"-- if anything she makes the spice hotter! I like how Chang's contract is forshadowed (and if I remember right, it's written in crayon, which is hilarious), and his little minions are so great. While I don't find Chang's overtaking of the school to be amazing, I don't hate it (and it sets the stage for the heist episode, one of my favorite tropes).

I love how matter of fact Jeff is when suggesting the plot to blame Chang, and how Chang has spies everywhere. And the school board people are great, as usual.

Curriculum Unavailable: I have to say, this is my favorite of the clip show episodes. I like how Abed is trying to get something done, and we get to see my favorite Police Officer ever. The thing about this clip show, though, is that it shows how far the group has come in a year. The previous clip show revealed that Jeff and Britta had been sleeping together, and it ended with the group almost being on the verge of breaking up. It was also really, really focused on the Romantic relationships within the group. This clip show, on the other hand, focuses on friendship, not only within the group, but also from them to the Dean. It brings the group closer together, and in a way, the clips seemed more 'realistic' to me as actually happening. It also contains the 'jacket' scene, which is adorable, because it shows that Jeff is at least *trying*, even if he's not succeeding. (Also it's my head canon that most of Greendale thinks that Jeff and Annie are dating at this point, and it allows me to totally see it.) I love Abed's freak outs, because it seems so real, and I love the interactions between the group in the psychiatrist's office.

Also, the scene where they confront the fake psychiatrist is hilarious-- with Annie wearing a Greendale backpack, Troy's face of 'realization', and Jeff's "stop letting him make you realize stuff".
