So it's been a revolving door of soreness, illness and injury, with very little in fact acquired by fighting, but all the same it is AFFECTING my fighting.
For the past month I've been dicking about with Tennis Elbow in my right elbow(sword arm) and it's not seeming to get any better. Lastnight I only made it through two fights, one with Wernar

I'm not going to name names, but it's not an easy thing to refuse to fight when someone goads you to, "take some advil, suit up and come beat us up". BUT it's not an order, or even meant in a malicious, *you are weak otherwise* manner.
I know how to say "No" to others with valid explanation why not. It's more difficult to say no to yourself when WANT to fight and you think MAYBE you can tough it out. Prolly good S was there lastnight( he usually isn't)to encourage me to quit at the point I did.
I have been doing some research on tennis elbow and have been doing the stretching, icing, pressure point, muscle building exercises that are medically recommended. BUT I found this site ---> http://www.kingbrand.com/Tennis-Elbow.php?REF=TEBrace and am now debating asking others with tennis elbow injuries to go in on the product(s) with me. Hmmm...maybe the barony can purchase it as part of a first aid-ish kit for the fighters? Either way, I'd like one. I also plan to purchase a brace to help imobilize the elbow so it won't get over extended and "bent out of shape" while recovering.
The "occupy basement" project is coming along. By this weekend I'll have a work room set up down there and my workout room will also start seeing more action(as all the zombies will be purged by then ;)) Yoga and Taichi and maybe some Industrial inspired 'dancin with myself' will hopefully improve my fitness aspirations.
Anyways, I booked a physio appt for next week(my medical insurance pays for it ALL).
Thanks for the feedback :)

And about the goading. One thing the assholes DON'T get is the body shape difference. Your body is dealing with different stresses than theirs. Period. Listen yours not their ignorant goading. Some advil is alright, but ongoing is bad for the body and you shouldn't be relying on it.
