The football game turned out to be a hell of a lot of fun. We sat in the bleachers for those who graduated in the 80's. We were loud, funny & really silly. I haven't laughed that much in a long time. Didn't get any good pics, but I did enjoy myself. I didn't recognize anyone from my year. Watching the kids made me very glad I'd never have to experience high school ever again. *g* Oh, and our team lost. The running joke was that they lost so that those of us from the later 80's (where our football teams were so bad, I'm not sure they ever won a game) would feel all nostalgic. We weren't we just laughed and made fun of them. We were so cruel. But funny.

Then today after getting our hair done, we went to try to find me a formal dress. We totally struck out at the cool vintage store. Then we went to a consignment shop that specializes in formal dresses. Apparently dressmakers size formal wear like junior size clothing. Cause I was trying on dresses that were three sizes above what I know I wear and they were barely zipping up. Struck out there too. Either the stuff was too small, bad design for my build (apparenly women who wear formal dresses don't have tits), or if it fit, I looked super frumpy. ::sigh:: Next stop is an upscale imported clothing store. And then, if all else fails, Macys & Nordstroms. Actually, if all else fails, D's goin to this shindig alone. *g*
