So, I know Hickey catches Jeff by surprise, but he doesn’t really put up much of a fight. I tend to think Jeff could’ve gotten away if he really wanted to. But it works out well because then Jeff gets to reprise his role from Intro to Knots where he did psychological battle with Cornwallis. I’m not sure how Shirley ends up taking down Hickey and Britta, but I guess we can chalk that up to what Troy said about her being the badass of the study group haha. Once again, I enjoyed the meta about “But we learned something. No, we didn't. We learned that sometimes there's no lesson. How is that learning?” because it’s Greendale and crazy stuff just happens.
Back to the apartment 303, I liked Annie and Abed’s silly attempts to show that their pick for 3rd roommate would work. Abed’s line about “I can’t accept that based on one time machine story” and Rachel’s reaction to telling Annie about her water pick were great. Annie and Abed were acting so weird though, Abed is lucky Rachel doesn’t think there’s something between them. I could totally understand it if she did. She definitely picked up on the awkwardness, and by the end of the night Abed had revealed what it was all about, but still. They’ve only been together a month, she doesn’t really know them all that well. Of course, Troy would’ve actually been a bigger threat to their relationship than Annie haha. Pile of Bullets seems like a mess, but leave it to Annie and Abed to actually figure it out. Rachel kind of confuses me though, she’s a Greendale student too, so how come she doesn’t go crazy like everyone else?
I had a brief heart attack moment when Anthony said he was leaving because “I just think there’s some unresolved issues here.” I thought for a moment that they might be setting up A/A, and thou shalt not threaten my OTP. I don’t know what to make of the brother/sister moment though. I’m not sure how Anthony would’ve taken their mom’s side. Did he also want Annie to cover it up instead of going to rehab? Or agree that she should be disowned because she went anyway? Neither of those really make sense for a 13 year old. Given Anthony’s response, it seems like maybe he just didn’t say anything or stick up for Annie, and she took it to mean he was siding with their mom. Abed’s apology to Rachel was adorable. I really liked how honest he was with her. I feel like that’s actually some significant character growth for Abed, and helps soften some of the ways he’s been less of a sympathetic character recently. The study room conversation between Abed and Annie definitely would lead you to think Britta may be their next roommate. I’m not sure how I feel about that. It could lead to some funny plot lines, but some messy ones too. And if Jeff and Annie finally get together, that would be pretty weird for Britta to be in the next room.

So I assume if this happens, Abed is rebuilding the blanket fort and moving in there? Cause I can't see Annie and Britta sharing a room and certainly neither one is sharing a room with Abed.... It's still just a 2 bedroom apartment right? I still don't understand how they can't afford a tiny 2 bedroom place between the two of them though.....and if you need three people to afford a place, shouldn't you have a 3 bedroom-er?

They don't really say if Annie quit her job at the pharmaceutical company, but it would be hard for her to be a full time student, have a full time job and run the save Greendale committee. Abed had been doing coding, which he could still be doing, but in Repilot he hadn't paid rent in a few months, so he's not making much money. Britta is bartending, so she could be making decent money but isn't rich by any means. A 3-bedroom place would be more expensive than a 2, so you'd have to balance that out if they can't afford splitting it two ways. I have no idea what the cost of living is in Colorado. But I imagine Abed moving back out in the blanket fort is the only feasible option, though I wonder what Rachel would think of that. I think the best solution for everyone is for Britta to move into Annie's room and Annie to move in with Jeff ;-)

All of what you say is likely true. I'm just surmising here....I really don't have any idea, for instance, what cost of living would entail, or if Annie is still working in pharmaceuticals. Do we know she's a full time student at this point? I guess she'd have to be, considering how much time she spends at Greendale and the fact that she's (presumably) there during normal work hours.....
Yes! Annie can just move right into Jeff's bed, er....place. Gotta imagine that if she were to move in, they probably wouldn't be leaving the bed for several days..... :)
