My butt hurts.
My outrigger team, Ka Nai A Novice Women came in the top third of about 20 boats in our very fisrt race in San Diego on Saturday!!!
I drove down on friday with two poy smoking hippies...literally...they were blazing in the car, and we stopped in Redlands to get the key from my Unlcle Dave who has a house in San Diego and let us use it. We went to sleep at about 11:15 and woke up at five thirty to go to the Beach at 6:00 (Mission Bay was RIGHT across the street from the house) and we did a warm up at 7:15 and raced at 8: 30.
The Race was BY FAR the hardest thing I have ever done. Four miles, about forty minutes, hard core, so much pain, can't stop, stay together stay together don't forget to breathe YOUR CUTTING IT SHORT CAMILLE HUT HIKE HO COME ON LADIES KEEP IT UP FULL POWER NOW JUST TWO MORE SIDES GUYS YOU CAN DO IT! Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway, My next race in in SB at East Beach in the morning. Its a Saturday I know but I'd like the support! Were racing out to the Oil Rigs and back... 24 MILES!!!!!!
Happy Mothers Day!!! Eddie's mom and little brother came over and had cheesecake, that was nice.
There are birds nests out under our porch overhang facing my room...Those dirt birds...Hehe.
