Twenty minutes ago I was afraid my next LJ post would feature my User Icon of Despair. I think I only used that once last year, and that was two days ago. But I made my connection at Mendoza and I have all my baggage. Maybe paisleychick and kragen even have a way of finding out what time my coach arrives in Buenos

Yeah, I still live in San Jose, but I just got back from China. I could relate to some of your travel difficulties, but I couldn't read LJ until I got back. It was blocked by the Chinese government! It was so sad.

Wow! China!! That's hardcore-I've always said that it's easier to travel in places where you at least know the alphabet, and China doesn't count!

How horrible about them blocking LJ! I mean, that's something I could easily get around while travelling, but sheesh!

I was there for work, so I had excellent guides, my boss is there all the time.

Luckily I could e-mail post to LJ, but no friends list :( Apparently they've been blocking and unblocking it sporadically for a few years. But there is a LOT censored by the Chinese government.
