Can Anybody Cut and Work With Sheet Metal?

If so, if I sent you a fairly simple design, would you be able to make it and get it to me, ideally by the middle of next week? This is for part of my
Burning Man
project, and I'm hoping to get a prototype ready by the middle of this month for Junkmail Man.

I should state that I need metal that's thicker than what I could cut with tin snips. I'll leave it to you material scientists to work out the thickness, but here's what I need: Imagine a piece of metal of arbitrary length and about 4 inches/100mm wide. Imagine if it was held vertically, and bent 90° about 6 inches/150mm from its end. The result is a 100×150mm platform being held up by the remainder of the metal. The metal needs to be thick enough so it could hold up a few pounds/a kilo or two at the end of the platform. I have a strong preference for lightweight metals.

This description is just to illustrate the strength of the metal I need. I actually need a piece of sheet metal cut to size and shape and then bent into a few right angles. Ideally the shape would have a few notches cut into the edges, and perhaps even have a few interestingly-shaped holes cut into it. I'm still working out the final dimensions and the design will be somewhat influenced by the capabilities of the people who respond to this post. I can use a paint program and my high school tech drawing knowledge to send an an exact design. Let me know if you prefer Imperial or metric units.

Of course I'll pay you for materials, and for shipping if you don't live close by, and I'm willing to either trade a favour or pay you cash for your labour. Just tell me what you want.

Feel free to refer people to this post.

Thanks!
