31 Days and Counting...

Vacation is a month away! I am going to sleep, sleep, sleep! Oh, and we might try to sneak some whitewater rafting, horseback riding and hiking in there as well. Plus the Biltmoore Estate, where I'll hopefully meet up with Becca for a while. I haven't seen her in 4 years. We've definitely got some catching up to do.

I'm going in for some routine bloodwork today. I went to the doctor for the first time in...nearly 8 years on Monday. It wasn't such a bad experience all things considered. Finally I have affordable health insurance and have the option to get treated whenever I'm sick. The doctor gave me some stretching exercises to do for my leg. I really should start doing those, but I've been majorly slacking. Hopefully this bloodwork will come back normal.

So, I was searching classmates.com the other day and ran across some information about an old friend I had in high school. I wouldn't exactly call him a friend though. I didn't know much about him and he probably didn't know much about me, but we did hang around each other constantly and had almost all of our classes together. After graduation he went off to the military -- marines I think and I headed to college. I haven't thought about him since then so to run across his bio and pics was interesting. He's married and has a son. I can't imagine that! Out of the circle of friends I hung around, he was one of the last ones I'd expect to have a child, but hey, he looked happy. I ended up emailing him though classmates. I'm curious to see if he actually responds or if he's just not interested. Only time will tell I guess.

D&D last night was a lot of fun. I'm not really sure where this whole story is going, but we've been at this particular campaign for over 2 years now. I'm really excited to get Mik her prestige class. The food was really good as well. Not to toot my own horn, but it was! Too bad I have to fast until 2pm today or else I'd have some for lunch. Hopefully Mike will save me some tonight.

I cannot wait to have a quiet evening at home. Monday thru Wednesday lately have been full of running around with Mike trying to make up for the fact that he works on the weekends. I don't think he realizes how exhausted it makes me. Tonight we plan on doing absolutely nothing so I might play some guild wars (which, by the way, rocks). I really would like nothing more than to come home and just spend my time doing mundane things. Let's see if that happens...

Okay, its time to head off to teach the kiddies!
