Sorry 'bout that folks
I feel kind of bad that people actually started reading this thing and I never post to it anymore...
Summer was pretty busy. As you may remember moving to New Orleans won in the last posted opinion poll. There was loads of rebuilding of homes, meeting wonderful and resilient people, making new friends, connecting with old friends, and best of all - job offers. Needless to say I had a great time. Doing work that I enjoyed by day and having dinner and cocktails with friends, government officials, the FBI or some combination thereof in the evenings. I can't say that I ever really missed Michigan...which is probably good with the way the economy is as of late.
As far as school goes, I have one major and minor down, one minor and student teaching to finish. It'll be graduation time in May and I'll have the summer to look for a job. I figure with job offers already lined up it'll really just be more moving than anything else. I guess by look for a job I mean look for a house near the jobs I've been offered and I'm interested in. I haven't really decided on my plans for work after May because it just seems to far away right now for me to concern myself with and that employers wouldn't really seriously concern themselves with it yet either. It seems like time has flown by. I just hope no one is planning a 5 year reunion for high school next year. I'm hoping to be living far far away before those start up.
That's a start to an update. I'll wait to see what kind of response I get from it. Feel free to post with suggestions or requests for posts in the near future. I guess when it's your life, you don't think of it as being all that exiting/interesting but I realize that to those I rarely see anymore it might actually be worth reading.
