Rest in peace, Van Tuong Nguyen.
In no way do i condone the smuggling of any drug whatsoever, and I certainly don't think that he was innocent, but we live in a world where people who commit crimes should at least be given the chance to rehabilitate, or spend the rest of their lives in prison contemplating what they've done and coming to terms with the effect their crime has had on the victims. It's not like he was a massive drug baron or something, he was just a stupid courier. I don't care about all his 'i did it for my family' story, he deserved 10+ years in jail or something but to be hung for it? Hanging???
