"He felt close to tears, in all honesty. The night before, everything had happened so fast, so rushed and hazy and it was not how Kibum had pictured losing his virginity. He was scared the entire time, nervous and shaky and stiff and he always hoped that when he had sex, it would be when he was close enough to a person to be able to touch them back, to share the connection, not for his view to be of the pillowcase his cheeks had been pressed against, not his white-knuckled fists beside his face.
He'd hoped that it would be slow, passionate, with lingering kisses and heated fingertips. He'd hoped that he would have grown to love the person and trust them fully before experiencing anything like that.
(But really, it was a far-fetched dream.)
