I really need to remember that LJ exists a little more often. I keep forgetting to look or post here. whoops XD;
Following my usual subject matter, I'm just commenting on doll/DoA stuff XD
I was doing my usual prodding around the MP, and found someone selling a mnf for a ridiculous price. They labeled it as a "one-off." Amusingly enough, the only thing special about it is the faceups, which were done by the seller. The faceups are pretty, but all the doll comes with is the body, two heads, and two pairs of hands, for 700$.
*shakes head*
now in unrelated news! I never updated after I mentioned that I found that LTF lot in the MP in may. I got her! Them? Them! XD alsdkjf SO CUTE. The Luna had this cute sort of android-y faceup with a lot of blue blushing and gold lines when she got here. Cute, but not something I really wanted to keep on her. It took a few weeks cause I had a summer class and con stuff to work on, but I finally got to give her a new faceup a few days ago, just in time to make a short appearance at the NYC meet this past saturday ^^ Her faceup came out nice, but her eyebrows are a bit wonky and the zouk spray worked a little funky. Like it oversprayed or something. I don't mind, but I can tell in a few pictures. She's a bit shiny o_O; The winking Ante plate is super cute as well, I'm just not sure what I'm doing with her yet. She's got a cute faceup (though I'm not a fan of her eyebrows), so I'm not sure if I'm keeping the current one or redoing it. I also have no idea who she is yet.

Lexi is Julien's 6 year old daughter. She's freaking adorable <3
Then there's Kazziyel. Considering Kaz is Julien's hallucination, I'm not quite sure what's going on here, but it's a fun picture? According to Julien, Kaz is physically based off of his late wife and Lexi's mother, Cassandra, soooo pretending it's a mother/daughter portrait? Family portrait? Not sure, but Kazzy is appropriately creepy, and Lexi looks rather worried XD
And of course, i had to do sort of a family portrait. It'd be pretty cool if I had Cassandra, but that's prolly not gonna happen for a while. It's fun seeing these three together though, especially with Lexi being so cute and Kazzy looking jarringly out of place.
With camp Nanowrimo coming up again in August, I've been thinking about what I'm gonna be writing. I'm a bit torn, honestly. I keep thinking I should work more on Catalyst and try to actually finish that, but I'd also love to try working on this story....or Ai'a's, or Timothy's, or go back to Citilla, or or or....too many options XD;;; Lots to consider~
Anyway, i guess we'll see? And I'll see how Lexi shapes up, too. Not sure if she's keeping the adorable fluffy wig, or if i'll give in and redo her faceup (though i lovelovelove most of it) or what else I'll do with the Ante. For now i'm just appreciating the cuteness and actually having little Lexi ^^
I'm also pretty amused how I'd been dead set on making Lexi a ltf Rachel, but she wound up being a Luna because of a rogue sale. I was a little skeptical that she would work for Lexi, but she's perfeeeect <3
