Post-its make me happy =]
After i discovered the operationbeautiful site a few months ago, i started posting ob post-its in a bunch of places, mostly around school. Posted a few around the parking deck stair well, cause those didn't disappear (some of mine are still up from last semester!) and bathrooms though those usually disappear pretty quick. (I guess they have to clean the mirrors or something XD) Aaaanyway, semester just started. Still a few in the parking deck, but i think i got two in bathrooms in one building last week. Of course, they're gone, but today i saw something that made me really happy.
In the spot i've actually stuck one or two last semester, in the middle of sort of a seat/decorative hole in the wall thing where there's some seriously high traffic through the building, there was a bright blue note. Damn straight, it had to be an operationbeautiful note. I kinda stared at it like a goofy twit for a little, cause y'nkow what? That prolly means they saw one of my notes and checked it out. It means chances are, one of my notes actually affected someone. The very idea made me so damn happy! It's also the first time i've ever come across a note that wasn't mine.
The other thing that made me really happy? The way it was written on the post-it was a lot like how i did some of my earlier notes, where i'd just write out a few without taking them off the pad, so there was a pretty big space at the top where there was another note still stuck on the pad, which means they did more than just that one. I'm kinda excited at the idea of stumbling upon more!
