It's official. This journal is just for my musings about manga, anime, and video games.
So I finally got around to finishing The Legend of the Legendary Heroes. I've mentioned it a few times, and I still hold that it is a great anime. In fact, it's the first anime I've truly enjoyed in a long time, because it has everything I like in an anime - plot twists, intrigue, a (mostly) good cast, lots of action, good art, magic, and the setting is a fantasy world. If there is no second season eventually I will be very sad because it was a great series but there was no conclusion whatsoever.
So now I need a good fantasy/action/adventure anime to watch. I mean I'm working on Index II but I'm looking for another one that is set in a fantasy world and not modern-day Japan. I think I'm going to finish Tears to Tiara next, but its cliches and super obnoxious female cast have kind of put me off. I'll probably finish FMA too, but I guess I'm more looking for hidden gems.
