Quinta-feira, 16 de Agosto
- I woke up and got ready with a luke-warm Brazilian shower. I was running later than usual though. I’m usually out by 6:55AM, but I think I left around a quarter past 7AM. Fortunately, I didn’t have to wait that long for the bus down the street. I jumped in and paid by a handful of coins-the driver didn’t care to count it, but then again they never do. I got off Rua do Lavradio to walk down to Praca de Tiradente to catch the other bus. On my way there, I stopped to get a banana vitamina (smoothie-juice) and a salgado (bread with cheese) to go. I headed over to the bus stop and jumped in. I arrived right around 8AM, and I had a cup of coffee with milk. I decided not to eat the bread, because I already had a salgado.
- I taught some more English to my students. “What did you do on Father’s Day?” because it was Dia dos Pais this past Sunday in Brazil. The students are so fun, and I am so glad to be working with them.
- The second English didn’t happen. Priscila stopped by to take photos of me teaching, but Kabum had a huge meeting so she didn’t take any pictures and I didn’t teach.
