Well finally finished Cha Quan 2 and 2nd section of Basic Long fist. So here's the last of it:
Basic Long Fist:
1. Do lead-into jump outside crescent kick and do the kick, but do it in an arch step so when you finish the kick, you should face the reverse way you came from.
2. Do a wheeling arms and face the way you were before when you were in the standing flash palm and vertical punch.
3. Go into a right bo-stance, bring the left hand up from behind and do a downward palm block from over the head to the front and bring the right hand to the waist.
4. As the downward block finishes, shoot the right hand up into a vertical punch upward like an uppercut, with the left hand blocking on the outside of right arm pit.
Cha Quan 2:
1. After doing the wind-up and a left side thrust kick, do not put the left foot down. Instead balance, and do a right palm strike.
2. Step behind and face left and do another palm strike with left hand.
3. Step around behind the left leg with the right leg and go into an empty stance with a double palm strike with both hands.
4. Do an advancing step by doing a skipping motion, step left, right and plant with left foot. After the advancing step, do a high chop with right hand and catch with the left hand just below the wrist. Lean into this motion as it is a lunging motion.
5. After the high chop, go into a bo-stance and do a flash palm with the left hand over the head and a right flash palm in a block down, similar to an earlier section in the form. It should be low as it is blocking at the shins.
6. Do a standing inside crescent kick and land in a horse-stance with the left hand in a flash palm and the right hand in a punch to the side. You should face the exact same way as the previous horse-stance.
7. Come up and step back with the right leg, bringing both hands to the waist again.
8. Step right, spear forward with right hand.
9. Step left, spear forward with left hand bringing the right hand to the left shoulder.
10. Circle the right hand down and up while bringing the left hand to the waist. Turn backward following the right hand as it comes down and does a palm strike smash. This entire motion should flow together as you go into a right bo-stance. When the the stance and palm strike hit, the left hand should also simultaneously go out into a back hook.
11. Turn around and bring the left hand in an a small circular motion from out to in. The right hand should circle down and up in a grabbing motion. As the right hand comes in toward the body, the left hand should continue out again and at the same time, they should lock as if putting up your fists to start a fight in a pose. You should also hit a 60-40 right horse-stance the instant this pose locks.
12. Stand and bring the left foot to the right knee as you bring both hands to the waist.
13. Step back with the left foot and spear both hands out in front.
14. Step back against with right foot and open up with both arms, going from down to up just like in the end of Contemporary Long Fist 3.
15. Hit a high empty stance as you bring the hands down in fist form just like in the start of Cha Quan 2.
16. End and step out.
Whew....long forms. It's good to get these all done. Now I just have to wait on my ex-coach to teach me the first tai-chi form 24-stance and wait on Sifu to get me my two-handed straight sword. An in-house tournament at the dojo is going to happen in about 2 weeks. So I wonder if I should enter...though my thoughts are leaning more toward entering than not.
Sigh...school is going to start soon and I don't think I'm too happy about it starting. I think I won't have much fun once it starts even if it's teaching something I have interest in. My teaching now leaning more toward wushu cause it's much more fun and invigorating. I should get a wushu degree as Sifu says that one IS possible. I should also get back to writing as a couple ideas are floating about in my mind.
