What the hell kind of store has a great relationship with a customer for years, to the point where that customer moves across the country and still continues to do business with them even though it would be easier and cheaper to order direct from the manufacturers online... and then just stops returning the customer's phone calls

The hours were kind of irrirtating, we always had to go on Saturdays. I think to us it was so awesome because there was NOTHING else closer than Gitta's in Mississauga, except for the stray Michael's here and Lewiscraft there. In comparison, it was the best thing going, and she usually took our stitching.
I'm pretty good for patterns right now, I've got all four of Passione Ricamo's seasonal fairies to work on as well as the moon fairy, and a pretty butterfly pattern to work on when I'm done all of those. At this point it's the fabric and the special floss and beads that I need. I just ordered the fabric I need for the Autumn fairy from Sugar Maple directly, because I really need to get that one done by May so I can use it in a portfolio. But maybe at some point we could go in together and order a pile of fabrics and floss and beads and stuff?
...though given what I remember of your stitching room, you probably aren't short on those. *grins* I still envy you all those supplies!
