*mutters* This story is never actually going to end. It's going to just keeping adding chapters onto the end so that I'm never free of it. ARGH. This is now officially the longest fanfic I've ever written, and there's still at least five chapters to go

Holy SHIT. They're cursed, I tell you, cursed never to be together without something horrible happening! Ohhhhh, poor Cloud, and poor Zack, who doubtless will guilt himself to death for hurting Cloud and...and...oh dear goodness.

But...yay! Cloud got transferred to omega unit! Sephiroth likes him! ^___^ I love how Cloud has utterly no sense of self-worth, and how Zack realizes this and is willing to explain just exactly how he managed to catch Sephiroth's attention, etc. ^_^ I love these two so much. *squishes them*

*giggles* They are cursed. It's the dreaded 'curse of the fic writer's attention'. One of the worst curses any character can ever have placed upon them. *petpets them*

And yeah, Cloud's self-esteem is not, never has been and never will be all that great. Poor grumpy little thing. *loves on him* That's why he needs Zack around. Small wonder he got all withdrawn and angsty by the time AC happens. He didn't have his Zack aronud to tease him out of it.

*snickers* Well, he wasn't quite naked. And Zack will think of something, he's the kind of guy who was ALWAYS getting into trouble as a kid, and always sweet-talking his way right back out of it. Besides, I think at this point Sephiroth is pretty damn sure what the relationship between them really is.

*le sigh* This was such an awesome 180'. Most of the time when people write little twists, you can see them coming from a mile away but this was just...very hot and then wha-bam! Unconscious Cloud. :p
