It was a twisted, ironic joke of the gods.
"Sasuke-kun,"
A cruel, cruel joke.
"I'm sorry."
Impossible.
"Really, I can't."
He nearly burst out a vein with the mere thought of such a condition.
"And I know you like it so much, but--Sasuke-kun?"
She perplexedly glanced at him, for fear that small twitching thumb was a warning of an impending seizure.
"No one," Did Uchiha Sasuke just bulged those pretty ebony eyes at her? "No one can be allergic to tomatoes."
"Everything can be a cause of anaphylaxis, Sasuke-kun." Her equally pretty (but his eyes are prettier, dammit!) eyes rolled at his incredulity. "If you know, No matter how unusual the trigger is, any foreign object can be the reason for the hives, rashes or even asphyxiation! Imagine that, Sasuke-kun!"
That look he gives her now? It qualifies to be called as downtrodden.
"I don't believe this."
"But yes, I do have one." She smiles triumphantly. "So no tomat--"
He then took a smug look.
"What?"
"Tomato salad for diner."
"What?"
"Have you heard about desensitization?"
