Well, Im completing phase 1, updating my LJ in consecutive days, a feat I havent acheived since September 2003, so something in my bones must be changing (though thats very possibly the impending arthritis).

Hav I ever told any of you how much I loathe my keyboard? I tried to buy two new ones last week, but neither worked. Clearly it is a plan between my harddrive and my keyboard to punish my via annoyance for all the porn Ive loaded this poor girl with over the last few years. So at times certain buttons dont work, most noticeably the 'e' button. If Im posting or LJing its not much of a problem. But when Im posting news or writing an assignment, I look like quite the retard, a look which I wear comfortably, but am annoyed by from time to time.

I managed to drag myself out of bed after about 5 hours sleep this morning (I really dont seem to be getting as much as I need anymore) and went into uni. Okay, so I skipped 3 things out of 4, but the actual going in was an acheivement, and the fact that I did some work afterwards was the icing on the cake. I got my first prolonged chat with Christina last night for the first time in about 3 weeks, which was utterly fantabulous, I miss her intolerably when we dont get to be around. I spent a lot of today looking for flights and trying to sort out a timetable for me to be able to go over there soon.

When I got back from uni today I did something that I rarely ever do, and havent done in about 6 months...I took a midday nap. But when I woke up an hour later I was so exceptionally tired that I had to have a few more hours. Well, I certainly must have needed it, all the bumps and bruises Ive gotten but ignored and all the sleep Ive missed but ignored all caught up with me in those 3 hours and I woke up exhausted and aching. But hopefully with a good nights sleep tonight (Im off uni tomorrow, so that shouldnt be a problem) Ill be better rested than I have been in a long time. I might even (read as MUST) do some work tomorrow too.

I managed to read quite a lot today and finished The Subtle Knife, the second book in Phillip Pullman's His Dark Materials trilogy, which was very interesting and Im going to have to hold myself back from being utterly compelled by the third book, to the point where I do nothing else but read it.

Also had considerable fun laughing at the sad lives of some folks we see on the internet wit my good friend Laura...it never fails to amuse what some people are willing, nay eager to share with the world.

So, in about 20 minutes Im going to post a few dribs and drabs of news at CoE, then get myself an early night so that if I get a phonecall during the night, Im rested enough to answer it.

Hope you are all well, and with a little luck Ill be able to post an account of my day tomorrow where I actually do a few things worthwhile.

x's for all.
