Writer's Block: Pecking Order

Aug 19, 2009 20:57

I'm the middle child. I am the second child of three girls. My older sister is ten years older, and my younger sister is one year younger than me.

Being the middle child is not what it seems. I get in the middle with fights, and I'm always the last to know stuff.

I'm very different to my sisters. Becki, older sister, is the energetic one and is very loud. Ashleigh, younger sister, is the moody one and is loud too. Me, I'm intelligent and very quiet.

Being the middle child is hard. I have expectations to live up to, and I have to be a good role model to Ash.

Speaking of Ashleigh, even though she is a year younger than I am, people think that we are twins. What a ridiculous notion! We look nothing alike. My mum says that we are Irish Twins. No, it does not mean we are twins from Ireland, it means that we are siblings that are born 12 or less months apart, both looking alike it certain ways. But what I really don’t get is that we are 14 months apart. Weird right?

On the other hand, the middle isn’t that bad. I get on quite well with my sisters, and we have a lot in common. We watch the same T.V shows and movies, and have good experience in the performing arts industry. Though, I have stopped singing and dancing, and have focused on the film industry, wanting to become a film director in the future.

Well that about sums it up. See you next time.

Mikki.
