so I can't access my blog. I'm kickin it Old School!
I was sitting, in my hipster way, in the coffee shop where my girlfriend works, and I was having trouble writing. Part of it is that I'm starving. The other part is that I had no idea where to go with the story.
I'm like "This guy's here, that guy's there, and that's that. I can't do anything until they do this other thing (i don't want to spoil anything for you)."
Then I realized: I'm done with the build-up. It's conclusion time. Not just to part II, but the novel itself. I estimate 20-25 pages, but it could be far less than that. Then I'm going to take a couple weeks off, maybe write a short story, send the rough-rough out to people I think can handle the awfulness of such an early draft, and it's down to brass tacks.
I think I'm going to go get food, then maybe read a bit. I'm a little too tired to tackle the end of days right now. Happy, though.
Like I said, working final draft finished by christmas, hopefull by my birthday, but teaching and classes are coming up, so....
Anyway, I hope y'all are as excited to read the damned thing as I am to finish it.
