Disclaimer: Don't own.
Fandom: The World Ends With You
Pairing/Character(s): Minamimoto
Rating: PG-13 for innuendo
Summary: Written for the TWEWY kink meme. Prompt was "Minamimoto/Calculator".

Minamimoto had a tragic weakness for calculators. He couldn't quite help it, the way they were made for the sole purpose of numbers and math alone. His first affair had been with a simple standard calculator, when he was naught but a child, and she had seduced him with her gateway to equations - 1+1=2, 2x2=4... It had been heartbreaking when he'd discovered there was a limit to the pretty lass, but then scientific calculators had come along, and his eye had been caught.

It's not you, it's me, he'd thought mournfully, his expression pouting as he put her away. It wasn't really that the scientific calculator was more shiny - though she was - so much as oh! the standard calculator couldn't handle numbers as big as the ones he wanted to put in.

The scientific calculator had kept his attention longer, with her exponents and sines and cosines and oh pi! but even then, she could only return thirty-one places after the decimal. Even she had her limits, though; she couldn't understand the power of numbers quadrillion and beyond (and not even!), nor the finesse that was found in the smallest of numbers. Was it so much a wonder he was swept away by the graphing calculators, that winked at him with their fine technology, their sexy graphs, their 32-bit processors? They were the epitome of math companionship (excepting, perhaps, programs like Mathmatica), and it showed when they revealed their matrices.

Oh, his sweet, sweet TI-89. He stroked the side of her screen, and sighed contently. "Show me all your math, baby."
