Turns Out Money CAN Buy Happiness
I bought a new mattress on Sunday and had it delivered yesterday and O.M.F.G.
It's amazing. Glorious. Sublime. Divine.
Say hello to my new mattress. It's not the Rolls Royce of mattresses but damn it's comfortable. Katie (downstairs roommate) helped Beth (upstairs roommate) negotiate a really good price on a new Jetta on Saturday so they were all drunk on negotiating power when we went mattress shopping. Good thing too, they got the price knocked down a few hundred dollars for me. My old mattress was 12 years old and had a visible dent in the middle so I had grown accustomed to getting shitty sleep for a long while now... not anymore!
I'm also waiting for a new digital camera I bought from Best Buy's website. 10megapixels, 5x optical/4x digital zoom and a bunch of other fun stuff... plus it was on sale. It's the Nikon Coolpix S550. Get ready for more photo posts in the future because it's been 4 years since I've had a digital camera that worked and 3 years before that since I've had one that was actually in line with the current technology. It'll be here tomorrow!
