Oh god, what a powerful set of codas...Had my bawling my eyes out by the end.

And this explains it all, and leaves a tiny space for hope:
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done that and that's why I can't just… put it back on, just like that, I have to make sure I forgive myself first…"

Thank you so much! It wasn't easy to write them, especially Dean's realization about being the last Winchester alive had me stopping for a moment before I could continue writing. I've read so many stories about how Dean just takes the amulet back and I just couldn't see that. I'm very glad you liked it! :)

That's some powerful stuff you wrote there..especially the second part. I love how Dean was addressing Sam even though only his spirit remains in the car.

At the beginning I wasn't so sure if Dean was talking to the car or to Sam (or even to himself), but then it became very clear. Wasn't easy to write the second part so I am REALLY glad you liked it! Thanks a lot!

I don't think we're ever going to get this sort of resolution on the show. But if we did, this would be a wonderful way to do it. Thanks for this.

That's one of the problems I have with the show atm, nothing gets resolved, they leave too many things open and unresolved. So I just had to write this. Thank you for your words, I'm really glad you like it! :)
