(no subject)
It's been so long since I've posted to my own journal, but I feel like I should say something today. After I heard the news about Clarissa ( may she Rest in Peace), I didn't quite know what to say. And we couldn't get up to NY for the funeral, so instead I picked out a beautiful bouquet of flowers and sent them to Clarissa's mother. Today in the mail was a little card... saying thank you for thinking of us from Anne Luvadis. It seems like such a small thing, but it means a lot to be recognized. I know she probably sent them to a lot of people, but it still felt personal. Even though she thinks I'm someone else... I'm not sure how to respond either. She wrote "keep in touch" and her phone number, but I'm not sure if I should write or call or anything. It almost feels awkward. I mean, Clarissa was a good friend and our mothers know each other, but I still don't feel like I know Anne enough to call her on the phone. Is that weird?
Anyway, I need to get ready for work. Yay for sitting at a cash register all day! (And YES I do like my job ^_^)
