Oh my gosh! Friday Night Lights is back
I just saw the season premier and oh boy, am I glad Friday Night Lights is back! I was doing the happy dance while watching the opening sequence. I had to pause and then rewind ofcourse but gah, so much love!
anyways lets see...
Matt and Landy at the pool. I love these two so much! They are just so snarky and honest with each other... and count on Landry to come up with the funniest lines. WWRD...what would Riggins do? seriously!? and Matt's "Captain of the tatas." ah welcome back boys. (and on the shallow end of the pool -get it? LOL ...how hot was Tyra and her ice pop? and what about Mrs T? Matt and Landry was all "yup MILF")
Julie...oh Julie. Why do you have to be so mean to your parents... and Matt? but I get where youre coming from and I'm ok with it...for now. On the plus side, atleast Julie is still friends with Lois! yay Lois!
Lyla! I was never a fan of hers during the first season, but I have to say I am liking sassy ms. Garrity! " A mother of three shouldn't be wearing skinny jeans" was just awsome. And hello Pam...love the hair!
Landry and Tyra. Ok this pair I really like. I have been reading the boards and alot of people are just doubting this couple. But come on, I think the writers never really intend them to be romantic, and I don't see that happening after this episode. Their relationship is more than that now. And as for their "murder/coverup" Im totally ok with it. Yes, I agree its a bit dark or overly dramatic for FNL but as someone whose seen the first season so many times, Im not worried about this story line at all. FNL has always been about the execution and I think FNL PTB has this down pat. Just have faith people. By the way, I just have to give it to Jesse and Adrianne. Those two acted their little hearts out. so Kudos to them.
Coach and Mrs Coach... Tami trying so hard not to cry and then finally breaking down, broke my heart. Those two can't be separated for too long!
So not much about Smash, Tim and Jason. Maybe we'll see more on them on ep 2? and where is Waverly?
Ahhh...I think thats it for now. I know Im forgetting alot of stuff but overall, I think this episode rocked and I will be watching it again and then again on Oct. 5.
oh yeah... Matt has a cell phone! haha
