I know its a bit late
I just saw the final episode of Gilmore Girls and oh did I cry...like a baby. Well, not like how I cried during the final episode of Everwood where I really bawled. But part of the reason why I was so upset was because I was just really pissed at the CW. I mean come one, they chose to renew 7th heaven over Everwood ...after they aired their FINALE! Whatever. Yeah, I guess I'm still pissed about that.
So back to Gilmore girls, can't say that Im a huge fan since I only watched it every so often. I think it was airing againts Buffy at one time so that's probably why I missed most of the early years. I also missed most of the last season because it became a bit boring and I wanted to try this new show, Friday Night Lights (when it was still on tuesdays). But I watched GG enough to care about those characters. I really like Lorelai, Rory, Emily and Richard...gosh even Kirk. So it was pretty sad when it was time to officially say goodbye. Tears started falling during friday night dinner and pretty much continued on to the end. Overall I really enjoyed the episode. I think they did a really fine job with it considering it wasn't supposed to be the finale. I really liked how everyone had their little moment and that Lorelia and Luke even kissed.
